This aromatic blend of spices is crafted to perfection, capturing the essence of authentic Punjabi flavors. Our secret recipe combines warming cumin, coriander, and black pepper with a touch of nutmeg and mace for a touch of depth. Fennel seeds, bay leaves, cloves, and dry ginger add layers of complexity, while a hint of red chili flakes brings a gentle heat. Simply simmer your chickpeas with Gruhasutram Chole Masala for a restaurant-worthy dish that will tantalize your taste buds.

How to use:

  • Soak 250g chickpeas overnight (for 6-8 hours) with extra water.  Pressure cook for 6-8 whistles and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry 125g onions till brown, add 125g tomatoes and stir well.
  • Add 30g (2 tbsp) chole masala, 1 tsp red chilli powder and required salt. Fry for 2 min.
  • Add the cooked chickpeas, water and your pressure cook again for 1-2 whistles so that they all come together.
