A blend of lentils and spices that can be used to quickly and easily whip-up delicious and flavourful vangibath (made with eggplant). You can use our versatile vangibath powder to make capsicum rice, tomato rice, vegetable bath, and khara bath. Save time and ensure consistent flavour in your dishes.

Description

How To Use

  • Cook 2 cups of rice and allow it to cool completely.
  • Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and add mustard, hing, peanut, channa dal, urad dal, 1 red chilli and allow it to splutter.
  • Add 250g of chopped brinjal, green peas and 1/4 tsp of salt. Cover and allow it to cook until the brinjal is done.
  • Add 1 tbsp of vangibath powder, 2 tbsp of tamarind water or 1 tbsp of lemon juice and 1/2 tsp of jaggery. Mix well and cook for 3 min.
  • Add cooked rice, salt as needed and mix well.
  • You can follow the same method to make Tomato Bath, Capsicum Bath, Vegetable Bath and Kharabath.
